About the role
Pacesetter Homes is a single-family business unit of Qualico with over 65 years of building experience. They offer award-winning home plans, interior design items, and finishing packages that personalize each new home they build. Pacesetter Homes operates in Western Canada, Dallas, Texas, and Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Support the new home sales process
- Assist in maintaining the assigned show home(s) or sales center
- Provide customers with an exceptional customer experience throughout the home buying process
- Act as the first point of contact for customers and ensure excellent customer service is provided
- Provide customers with show home tours, product information, and purchase process
- Answer incoming calls and emails and book appointments
- Absorb and qualify potential purchasers and convert them into qualified buyers
- Track customer information and assist in obtaining financing
- Continually inspect and ensure show home(s) or sales center are appealing and presentable
- Attend to items such as tidying décor items, straightening signage, maintaining inventory of kitchen and washroom supplies etc., and identify items of concern or in need of repair
- Support customers throughout the home building process and coordinate project changes
- Provide updates on building progress and coordinate walkthroughs
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, calendar management, tracing customer deposits, maintaining office supplies, sales brochures, and signage
Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 6 months of sales experience in residential home building industry preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check and driver’s abstract
- Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM and accounting software (HubSpot, NewStar, etc.)

Pay
The pay for this position includes a base hourly wage and an entry-level commission structure.
Schedule
Hours are primarily regular business hours with evenings and/or weekends as well as travel to off-site meetings or other show homes occasionally required.
