Sales Assistant - Night packer

About the role

Smyths Toys is recruiting fully flexible Temporary Nights Packers to work as Sales Assistants. You will join Europe’s top toy retailer, helping to keep the store well stocked, well presented and delivering a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced, dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Help the team achieve daily targets.
• Ensure the store is well stocked and well presented at all times.

Requirements

• Ambitious, hard‑working, energetic and reliable.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in any of the following areas is highly desirable: Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Gaming, Backdoor/Warehouse.

Skills

• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a fast‑paced, dynamic team.

Pay

£12.90 per hour for employees over 21 and £11.00 per hour for those under 21. For hours worked between 10 pm and 7 am the rate is £14.37 per hour for over‑21s and £11.78 per hour for ages 18‑20.

Schedule

Temporary contract with flexible night shifts (10 pm–7 am). Stores are open 7 days a week, and weekend work is likely. Employment types include contract, part‑time and full‑time positions.
