Sales Assistant - Houston
About the Role
Help the sales team foster client relationships and capture residential new home sales by demonstrating product features and providing relevant information to potential home buyers. Provide administrative support throughout the sales contract process.
Responsibilities
- Provide extraordinary customer service and effectively communicate all product offerings, building processes, financing plans, and mortgage processes to guide prospects and buyers.
- Prepare accurate and complete reports, including competition reports for all company competitors in the division, and Sales and Traffic reports for the communities.
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments for sales consultants.
- Greet potential home buyers and provide community brochures and information.
- Collate sales materials, including brochures and literature, and maintain appropriate supplies.
- Ensure the model home is clean and orderly (remove trash, stock fridge, etc.).
- Perform timely opening and closing of the model home and complete the opening/closing checklist.
- Assist the Sales Professional with various activities, including updating CRM systems.
- Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or above.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and diligence in following up with leads.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- High standards of conduct, efficiency, and productivity.
- Ability to effectively multitask, handling various projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Team-oriented, motivated, and professional in appearance (business professional attire required).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is a plus.
Work Environment
This job primarily operates on-site at home construction communities and in a professional office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Noise levels at communities may be loud regularly.

While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, sit, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
This is a full-time, nonexempt position. The work schedule will align with normal Call Center hours of operation and is determined by business need. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel
Must be willing to travel to all Brohn locations as needed.
