Compensation Range Hourly: $21.40 - $24.50 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.) Commerce Financial Advisors is a division of Commerce Bank. About This Job The main purpose of this job is to support Commerce Bank Financial Advisors in case management, processing and handling all functions necessary to provide quality service to investment clients. Essential Functions Prepare new account paperwork and/or maintenance documents for client appointmentsAssist financial advisors with handling receipts and disbursement for accountsAssist with various mailings and campaignsResponsible for opening and maintaining client accountsEnsure timely response to client requestsPlace trades as received from the financial advisors or clientsAssist with internal and external client phone calls as neededPerform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Basic knowledge of the brokerage industryStrong problem solving skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to quickly adapt to changing prioritiesStrong computer skills with the ability to learn new applications quickly and with easeExcellent customer service skills and strong analytical thinkingMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required1+ year experience in processing or customer service, preferably in banking, finance, insurance or the investment industry requiredSeries 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain within one year of obtaining positionFor individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $21.40 to $24.50 per hour.
