Responsibilities

  • Entering and maintaining all national orders including electronic transfer and maintenance of all MediaLine/WOCentral orders to WideOrbit.
  • Learning aspects of the traffic and programming department and working hand and hand with traffic and programming support.
  • Affixing show numbers to programs in Titan software and maintaining an organized system for tracking.
  • Keeping up-to-date records of program changes, updates, and cancellations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
  • Aiding in the development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
  • Aiding in the collection of traffic instructions from account executives and advertising agencies to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Aiding in the oversight of completion and distribution of the program grids, ensuring all shows are scheduled correctly and efficiently.
  • Creating supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
  • EFFECTIVELY communicating with internal teams (sales, production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of campaigns.
  • Maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Preparing proposals based on account executive requests.
  • Keeping progress tabs on various sales initiatives.
  • Working cooperatively with managers, co-workers, and clients to deliver a high-level of service.
  • Interacting with co-workers, clients, and the viewing public in a professional manner, both on the phone and in person.

Requirements

  • Must have computer and software experience.
  • Previous commercial television experience a plus.
  • Military experience will be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, WideOrbit, and MediaLine preferred.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Capable of learning new systems promptly and thoroughly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Must be highly-focused, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Must take pride in work, respond to instruction well, thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently, and perform at a consistently high-level.
  • Deal with the daily stresses and pressures associated with commercial television sales.
  • Extreme attention to detail.

  • Related military training and experience will be considered.
