Responsibilities
- Work directly or indirectly with customers or company representatives to assess needs and requirements, facilitating successful quotations.
- Provide excellent customer service in quoting and vendor relations.
- Establish methods and procedures to maintain optimal productivity.
- Complete daily tasks and support vendors and customers to meet company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales within the aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of OEM and general aerospace business environments.
- Understanding of aircraft parts and aerospace requirements.
- Knowledge of inventory practices and aerospace requirements.
- Self-starter with initiative to drive improvements and company growth.
- Understanding of aerospace quality management practices and AS9120 requirements is helpful.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn proprietary software programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work interdepartmentally.
- Demonstrates a strong customer service attitude and demeanor.
- Teamwork and leadership skills to elevate sales levels in the department.
Special Requirements
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) is required. This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
