Sales Arborist

About the role

Join Emerald Tree & Shrub Care as a Sales Arborist and grow your career while helping clients protect and enhance their landscapes. This role goes beyond sales—you’ll become a trusted advisor, combining plant knowledge with relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residential and commercial clients
• Assess tree and shrub health and recommend solutions
• Manage and grow your own client base
• Partner with operations to deliver excellent service
• Continuously expand your expertise

Requirements

• Background in tree care, landscaping, horticulture, or sales (training provided)
• Self-motivated, independent, and driven
• Strong communicator with a professional presence
• Curious, trustworthy, and relationship-focused

Qualifications & Certifications

We support you in obtaining the following certifications and licenses:

• ISA Certified Arborist
• NY Category 3A License
• CT Arborist License
• CT Ornamental & Turf License

Benefits

Employees who work 30+ hours per week are considered full-time and become eligible for benefits after 30 days of employment.
