About the role
Reporting directly to the Sales and Applications Engineering Manager, you will assist in the selection, sales, and support of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and accessories. The role focuses on providing technical support, equipment selections, and quotations to internal and external customers. You will also deliver technical presentations, training, and stay updated on emerging trends and new products from suppliers. Occasional site visits may be required to provide field support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and equipment selections for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
- Prepare and deliver quotations to customers.
- Nurture and grow new and existing customer relationships.
- Perform heat load calculations.
- Support customers across the state with technical presentations and training.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and new products from suppliers.
- Visit project sites to provide field support as needed.
Requirements
- Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience, or a Diploma/Degree in Engineering with industry experience.
- Diverse experience in the HVAC-R sector is favorable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current driver’s license.
- Technically minded with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work hard and thrive in a highly successful team.
