Sales and Service Rep Driver Class B

About the role

Safety‑Kleen in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. The role includes training to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services within a defined route. Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Visit approximately 10‑12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15‑ and 30‑gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets and manufacturing type businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries and pick‑ups in a timely manner.
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state and federal requirements.
• Observe company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: Class B CDL.
• Required: Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Required: Basic computer and math skills.
• Required: Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Required: Strong customer service skills.
• Required: Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Required: Successfully complete a background check, drug test and physical.
• Required: Meet OSHA respiratory protection facial‑hair standards (29 CFR 1910.134) if a respirator is required.
• Preferred: Strong customer service skills.
• Preferred: Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non‑CDL).

Pay

Pay range: $24‑$25 per hour plus overtime.
