Sales and Service Rep Class B Route Driver *$5K sign on bonus

Safety-Kleen in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. This role involves driving a Class B box truck to provide on-site service for parts washer machines, picking up containerized hazardous waste, and selling products/services within a defined route. Safety-Kleen will cover the cost to obtain your CDL.

About the Role

• Must attend a 1-week out-of-state training academy
• Home every night
• Uncapped commission
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• Opportunities for overtime (10-12 hour days)
• Involves general labor: loading, unloading, use of hand carts, dollies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing-type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Obtain a Class B CDL (Safety-Kleen will pay for training)
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical
• Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard, employees in positions requiring respirators must meet facial hair standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
