Sales and Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Aid in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
• Support store operations by serving all customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Handle all donations with care and donors with respect and courtesy.
• Maintain merchandise as directed, ensuring proper categories and colorization.
• Sustain store inventory levels and ensure "ragged out" merchandise is up-to-date according to the "Arc Command Rag out Calendar."
• Clean and maintain the store property.
• Report any theft, customer complaints, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately to management.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with the Guide to Thrift Store & Donation Center Operations manual.
• Support the work therapy program by demonstrating professional conduct, work habits, and supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor, Store Supervisor, Assistant Store Supervisor, and/or Administrator.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English for effective communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
