Sales and Leadership Trainee - Fall 2026

About the role

We are recruiting candidates for the Sales and Leadership Training (SaLT) Program at Yancey Brothers Caterpillar. This 12-week, rotation-based training program is designed to prepare you for a successful future in our organization.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across business divisions through structured training and job shadowing.
• Participate in interactive classroom sessions and leadership development activities.
• Build specific job skills while immersing yourself in Yancey’s culture and core values.
• Connect with team members at all levels of the company.
• Attend SaLT Program meetings, trainings, and site visits.

Requirements

• Prior experience working/volunteering in sales, retail, management, or customer service type roles.
• Good communication skills and a desire to learn.
• A sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
• Ability to work both with a team and independently.
• Long-term interest in future sales and leadership opportunities with Yancey Bros. Co.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in prior work/volunteer experience.
• Ability to use judgment and creativity in applying solutions to business concerns.
• High energy and strong work ethic.
• Effective communication skills in sales, parts, and service solutions.
• Ability to work in a team setting and individually.
