Sales Analyst Publix and Southeast Region
About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Ice Cream Customer Business Manager and the broader team. The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing proactive analysis of the current business, which includes promotional, every day and future-faced reporting. The position will require time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a bias for action.
Responsibilities
- Analyse weekly sales performance, shopper behavior, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop actionable insights from multiple data sources and communicate findings to support business growth and decision-making.
- Become proficient in key data and analytics platforms, including IRI/Circana, Numerator, and retailer-specific reporting systems.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales plans, ensuring all customer deadlines and ad hoc requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting recurring reporting deadlines and responding effectively to changing business needs.
- Retrieve, consolidate, and analyze data from various sources to identify emerging trends, assess business impact, and recommend actions.
- Take ownership of assigned categories by proactively identifying opportunities, solving problems, and implementing solutions to drive growth.
- Monitor business performance, quickly identify issues, and work collaboratively to prevent future challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying processes, increasing efficiency, and eliminating non-value-added activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear recommendations and solutions to business challenges.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by evaluating potential solutions, making informed decisions, and taking appropriate action where empowered.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail while delivering accurate analysis, reporting, and customer-facing materials.

- An undergraduate degree is required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $71,400 to $107,200. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
