About the role
This position is responsible for sales analysis, tracking, recapping, and reporting of sales data and goals for the sales teams and managers. The most successful Sales Analyst will develop and create sales tools and presentations each month, plan all aspects of sales meetings, and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to all upper management by performing general clerical duties.
- Utilize data systems like Branches, Slicer, IRI, Tableau, etc. to identify key targeted channel-driven opportunities to drive incremental JB business.
- Compile sales reports, supplier end-of-month reports, and completion of chain programs.
- Track monthly reports on spreadsheets.
- Review, build, and analyze Go Spot Check Missions and Submissions.
- Build PowerPoint Supplier Recaps.
- Distribute all reports on a weekly basis to all managers.
- Prepare divisional-level information for supplier meetings.
- Prepare upper management for calls and meetings with key suppliers.
- Assist in the management of LMF funds and banks as it relates to local marketing and brand planning.
- Keep track of all free good programs, budgets, etc., and give weekly updates.
- Oversee and track all monthly, quarterly incentive plans and recap each Sales Manager.
- Provide daily sales updates and weekly sales objectives updates.
Requirements
- Work experience in an analyst role preferred.
- 3+ years CPG experience or related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree required (or analogous industry experience/skills).
Skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage programs.
- Extensive computer knowledge in all Microsoft programs including Word Processing, spreadsheet capability, PowerPoint, and Excel (proficiency in Excel required).
- Professional, organized, and energetic.
- Ability to work independently and possess initiative and motivation.
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task, work on several initiatives, and meet deadlines.
- Programming and price structure experience a plus.
