Sales Advisor - Sony

About the role

Turn browsers into believers by representing Sony’s cutting-edge entertainment technology on the sales floor at Best Buy in Manalapan, NJ. You’ll engage customers, deliver dynamic product demonstrations, and guide shoppers to the perfect TVs and home theater solutions that transform their entertainment experiences.

Pay

• $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Biweekly pay via direct deposit

Schedule

• 20 hours per week
• Friday 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Sony product demonstrations that highlight innovative features and elevate the customer experience
• Use consultative selling techniques to recommend the best home theater solutions for each shopper’s needs
• Proactively address objections and close sales to meet weekly targets
• Train Best Buy associates on Sony product knowledge and selling strategies
• Complete post-shift reporting via surveys with accompanying photos to share feedback

Requirements

• Prior retail or consumer electronics sales experience
• Strong, energetic communication style that builds rapport with customers and teammates
• Reliable transportation to commute to the local Best Buy store
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Smart device capable of handling reporting tasks
