About the role

The Sales Admin at Alloy Fasteners' Maryville, TN distribution center assists the sales staff with customer communications, order entry, maintaining product pricing, and assisting with inventory management. The position is part of a growing team with high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-stock inventory for customer needs
• Use Excel, Word, and Microsoft applications daily
• Multi-task and practice attention to detail
• Work as a member of a growing team
• Solve problems and offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies and guidelines, in a friendly and professional manner
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer support experience
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to discuss and problem-solve situations that could arise with the customer
• Able to achieve and maintain rapport with customers and provide the best possible service regularly
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive and professional demeanor

Qualifications

• Mechanical manufacturing accounting and inventory system experience is a plus
