Primary Job Responsibilities
- Drive new business and re-engage past customers
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with internal teams to support projects
- Track activities in CRM, report on pipeline/forecast, and provide market feedback
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitors
- Participate in sales meetings/training/trade shows and perform other duties as needed
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or similar role within the truck or sanitation/environmental equipment industry
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus
Schedule
- Standard office hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in office
- This role is required in office work with some travel to meet with clients
- Sales Account Manager occasionally works on time sensitive projects, and it is expected will work any/all hours as required to complete projects as directed (i.e. occasionally, earlier and/or later work hours may be required)
- Sales Account Manager is expected to monitor emails / phone calls every day, and respond even during non-office hours
- Although not commonly expected, occasional work on Saturdays may be required
Office Location / Report To
The Sales Account Manager will report to FlowMark’s Director of Sales. The role is based in Kansas City, MO, remote arrangement will not be considered.
