Sales Account Manager
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000 base + bonus structure
About the Role
The Sales Account Manager sells the organization’s services by calling and visiting with prospective and established customers for a designated territory. Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, prices, and new products. Meets established sales quota and monitors competitive activity and trends within the territory. Determines priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and sales maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic marketing and sales plans.
- Forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners in designated territory.
- Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Directs market channel development activities and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Assists with developing and managing sales/marketing operating budgets.
- Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
This job operates both in-the-field and in clinical environments. Automobile travel is required on a daily basis. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Requirements
- Two plus years’ experience in a customer-facing sales/marketing/business development role with proven success – healthcare preferred.
- Previous experience with Salesforce & Tableau preferred.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectations.
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education, training, and experience.
