About the role
Go Maverick Group is a fast-growing wholesale distributor based in Ohio that supplies essential products to businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations. They are seeking driven, early-career professionals who want to own accounts, build strategy, and directly influence revenue.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers across accounts
- Learn your customers' businesses inside and out, identifying areas of need and value
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Own your pipeline from lead generation to closing deals
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent Child Source and expand your network
- Collaborate across teams (Sales, Marketing, Vendor Partners) to deliver solutions and drive results
- Develop account strategies, pricing approaches, and growth plans
- Bring forward ideas based on market trends and customer insights
- Present solutions confidently and negotiate new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in sales, retail, or a customer-facing role
- Strong communicator who can build trust and influence others
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable presenting ideas and negotiating
- Quick learner with a passion for growth
- Able to create, compose, and edit written materials as well as deliver compelling sales presentations
- Confident in your own abilities and a strong listener
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in consumer goods, wholesale, or marketing is a plus
