Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinics
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer partnerships while developing new business opportunities
- Become a trusted advisor by understanding each customer's business and recommending solutions that support their success
- Conduct regular business reviews, customer visits and strategic planning discussions
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM technology
- Achieve or exceed customer retention, revenue growth and activity objectives
Your First Year at Gateway
- Develop trusted relationships with your assigned veterinary partners
- Increase customer engagement and satisfaction across your territory
- Identify opportunities to expand Gateway's services within existing accounts
- Consistently achieve customer retention and revenue objectives
- Become a valued strategic partner to your customers and colleagues
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful account management, relationship management or outside B2B sales experience
- Proven ability to grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
- Experience managing a geographic sales territory
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
- Veterinary, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical or related industry experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel approximately 75% throughout your assigned territory

Pay
Up to $80,000 + Performance Incentive
Schedule
- Field-based position with approximately 75% travel
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Frequent travel to veterinary hospitals, customer locations, conferences and networking events
