Sales Account Executive

Sales Account Executive position in Pendergrass, GA offering a competitive base salary and unlimited commission plan. Total compensation ranges from $80,000 to $500,000 per year.

About the role

The Sales Account Executive establishes contact with existing customers, identifies new opportunities, and follows up on potential leads. This role acquires new customers through direct selling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Use phone communication and direct sales contact to acquire and develop business relationships
• Present and sell company products/services to new and existing customers to drive sales growth
• Monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to expand revenue
• Meet or exceed sales targets by deadline(s)
• Learn and understand inventory and manufacturing capabilities
• Schedule and follow up on appointments to build relationships and inform customers of latest product offerings
• Create sales material to present to customers
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and convert them into customers
• Update client information in the company contact database
• Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Demonstrated detail orientation
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines
• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• 4-year business or related degree preferred, but not required
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheet software
• Willingness to travel
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction

Physical Demands

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a phone, computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
• Ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone

$80,000.00 – $500,000.00 per year (includes base salary and commission)
