About the Role
We are hiring an Account Executive to drive new business, manage strategic client relationships, and expand revenue across the MENA region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan). The ideal candidate is energetic, extroverted, and passionate, with strong relationship-building skills and a desire to grow their sales career. This role offers a clear growth path and potential advancement into senior leadership or Head roles for high performers.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, target, and close new business opportunities within assigned MENA territories. Build a pipeline of qualified prospects through outbound prospecting, networking, and inbound lead follow-up. Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry events, and referral networks to source opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of the region's digital transformation initiatives, particularly in Saudi Arabia (Vision 2030) and the UAE.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to executives and decision-makers. Understand client needs and position our solutions for compliance and fraud-prevention challenges. Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to drive retention and expansion. Relationship-building is critical in MENA business culture, and you should be comfortable with in-person meetings and relationship-driven sales approaches.
- Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure. Run discovery calls, product demonstrations, proposals, and negotiations. Accurately forecast deal progression and maintain clean, up-to-date records in the CRM.
- Revenue Growth: Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Contribute to regional revenue targets and portfolio growth.
- Market Expansion: Drive penetration into key MENA markets, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan. Understand regional market dynamics, compliance requirements, and the competitive landscape. Adapt your sales approach to different cultural and business environments. Stay informed about national digital identity initiatives and regulatory developments across the region.
- Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities across the MENA region to strengthen our brand presence. Build a personal brand as a trusted resource in the RegTech and identity verification space.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize client value. Provide feedback to product teams on market needs and competitive intelligence. Work with customer success to ensure smooth handoffs and client onboarding.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate pipeline forecasts, sales reports, and account strategies to leadership. Maintain clean CRM records with up-to-date opportunity stages and notes. Communicate wins, losses, and learnings to help refine sales strategies.
Requirements
- Mandatory SaaS or IT Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience selling SaaS, IT solutions, or technology products. Candidates without demonstrated SaaS or IT sales experience will not be considered.
- Sales Experience & Track Record: 4–6+ years of total sales or account management experience. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and experience closing mid-market to enterprise deals. Comfortable with outbound prospecting and building your own pipeline from scratch.
- Preferred Industry Experience: Experience in RegTech, FinTech, compliance, banking, or cybersecurity is highly desirable. Experience selling identity verification, KYC/AML, or fraud prevention solutions is a plus. Experience selling into financial services, government, or technology sectors is advantageous. Knowledge of the Islamic finance sector is a strong plus.
