Sales Account Executive

KFNX is Arizona’s fastest-growing radio station, home of the CBS Radio Network, Arizona Wildcats sports, and top talk radio hosts like Brian Kilmeade, Dan Bongino, “Markley Van Kamp & Robbins,” Joe Pags, and Guy Benson. Broadcasting at 50,000 watts—the highest power authorized by the FCC—KFNX covers Central and Southern Arizona, including Metro Phoenix and Maricopa County. The station is expanding its sales team and seeks a highly motivated, proven sales professional to join as an Account Executive.

Responsibilities

• Telephone and in-person outreach to advertisers and prospective advertisers
• Preparation of sales proposals with customized advertising solutions
• Creation of client creative campaigns
• Submission of sales reports to the VP/Sales
• Attendance at sales meetings

Comprehensive education and ongoing training will be provided by KFNX management and the Radio Advertising Bureau.

Requirements

• Strong marketing, phone, and presentation skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and driven to excel
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Car in working order, valid driver’s license, and car insurance
• Ability to pass a drug test, credit check, and background check
• Proficiency with computers, including social media, internet, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent programs

Qualifications

• Prior broadcast sales or outside sales experience preferred
• College degree a plus
