Sales Account Executive

Responsibilities

  • Educate customers on all transportation services offered by R+L Carriers.
  • Gain targeted market share in key lanes.
  • Target key accounts in selected industries.
  • Promote market awareness and visibility.
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals.
  • Stay educated and understand market trends and competitors within assigned territory.
  • Promote corporate image and culture.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of LTL motor freight sales experience.
  • PC literate.
  • Knowledge of the local market.
  • Operations knowledge in an LTL environment is preferred.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain a commercial driver’s license if necessary. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
