Responsibilities
- Educate customers on all transportation services offered by R+L Carriers.
- Gain targeted market share in key lanes.
- Target key accounts in selected industries.
- Promote market awareness and visibility.
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals.
- Stay educated and understand market trends and competitors within assigned territory.
- Promote corporate image and culture.
Requirements
- 2+ years of LTL motor freight sales experience.
- PC literate.
- Knowledge of the local market.
- Operations knowledge in an LTL environment is preferred.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain a commercial driver’s license if necessary. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
