About the role

Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an entry-level Sales Account Associate. This position is a training program for candidates interested in becoming a media advertising executive at Hearst Television’s Gulf Coast NBC/ABC.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with internal teams (sales, commercial production, finance) and external clients regarding campaign performance and delivery.
• Manage sales database in Microsoft Dynamics.

Requirements

• Capable of handling time-sensitive projects with a professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent social, intrapersonal, and presentation skills.
• Focused and organized with proficiency in Excel.
• An enterprising spirit with a goal of becoming an Account Executive within 9-12 months.

Qualifications

• Related military experience may be considered.

• Software skills including WideOrbit Traffic and Media Sales, Media Monitors, Marshall Marketing, and others.
• Proficiency in using Nielsen research data.
• Practice and roleplay in presenting.
