Sale Day Driver - ADESA Pittsburgh

This role is available year-round, not just during the summer. Schedule: One day per week. TUESDAYS from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pay: $15.15/hour

Responsibilities

• Help move cars through the auction lanes while the car auction is happening.
• Drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines, including wearing a seatbelt, placing the vehicle in park or neutral when stopping, and adhering to ADESA safety protocols.
• Ensure vehicles are staged and parked in the correct lot area.
• Inform supervisors or lane captains of any breakdowns or maintenance needs immediately.
• Report to managers or supervisors for any driving-related incidents, including traffic citations, accidents, or mechanical issues.
• Operate motor vehicles safely and maintain conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a motor vehicle.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• To perform the essential functions of this job, drivers must be able to stand, walk, talk, hear, and see.
• Physical demands include light to medium physical work, frequent standing, walking, and occasional running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movements in emergency situations.
• Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to definitions for clerical, administrative, and machine operator positions.
• The position involves exposure to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slight noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems.
