About the role

Haffner’s is seeking a Convenience Store Food Service Associate to provide customers with a satisfying shopping experience. This role is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of shift duties, including delivering exceptional customer service, producing deli items, operating and maintaining deli equipment safely, and abiding by all food service and health regulations. Haffner’s is committed to providing a positive work environment with excellent training and advancement opportunities—over 35% of current employees have been promoted to store manager or other positions within the company.

Eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all job duties with a customer-centric mindset, making customer service the top priority.
• Handle customer complaints and issues, escalating situations when necessary.
• Perform job duties in accordance with all company policies and safety rules.
• Maintain a clean deli area in compliance with state and company health guidelines.
• Reinforce safety rules with other associates.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food safety (additional training will be provided).
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to interact well with coworkers.
• Good organizational skills.

Pay

$15.00–$17.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
