SailPoint Engineer, Senior
About the role
You know that the user is the last frontier for cybersecurity. As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist, you have the skills and experience to secure identities and prevent cybercriminals from accessing data and disrupting processes. In this role, you’ll support large-scale IAM projects for our clients, playing a critical role in the world of IAM and Zero Trust.
You’ll interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to analyze identity lifecycles, articulate access requirements, and define enterprise identity records. Using your experience in IAM, you’ll design, deploy, and support systems that verify user privileges and manage credentials for accessing our clients’ most valuable assets. From single sign-on to privileged access systems, you’ll implement enterprise-class solutions to stop adversaries.
Responsibilities
- Support large-scale IAM projects for clients, focusing on SailPoint and Zero Trust initiatives
- Analyze identity lifecycles, access requirements, and enterprise identity records
- Design, deploy, and support IAM systems to verify user privileges and manage credentials
- Implement enterprise-class solutions such as single sign-on and privileged access systems
- Develop workflows for joiner, mover, and leaver scenarios and automate identity tasks
- Integrate SailPoint IIQ with systems like ServiceNow, Workday, SAP, Oracle, AWS, or Azure
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts
- Manage multi-tenant, multi-classification, or varied Impact Level environments
Requirements
- Experience with Identity Governance platforms such as SailPoint, Ping, or Virtru, including identity lifecycle management, access certification, entitlement management, file access governance, and unstructured data protection
- Experience implementing identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and certification
- Experience in Java for customizing SailPoint IIQ workflows, rules, and connectors
- Experience integrating SailPoint IIQ with systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, SAP, Oracle, or cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, and Azure AD integration with identity systems
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- Experience with IAM platforms, including Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Oracle, or CA Identity Management product suites
- Knowledge of Enterprise Directory architectures
- Knowledge of emerging authentication, authorization, and privilege access management technologies and protocols
- Knowledge of access control frameworks, including NIST 800-63
- Ability to lead and coach technical staff
- Completion of DoD 8140 requirements

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific affordability.

Work models include:
- Remote: Generally virtual, but may require occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer sites as needed.
- Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with direct collaboration as required.
Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
