About the role
The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Develop and implement safety training programs
- Coordinate emergency response plans
- Monitor and report on safety incidents
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a safety management role
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with safety software tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
