Safety & Security Officer Trainee - RRH Learning Center, Security (Full-Time, Rotating, 24/7 Operation)

Responsibilities

• Complete required security training, certifications, and shadowing to learn hospital policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Aid with patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and emergency drills while gaining hands-on experience.
• Identify and report hazards, participate in fire safety checks, and support patient and visitor safety initiatives.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports while learning investigatory and documentation practices.
• Uphold hospital values, demonstrate integrity, and work collaboratively under guidance to develop into a fully independent Security Officer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Experience in Security, Public Safety, Military, or Law Enforcement preferred.
• Strong interest in safety and security, public safety, or law enforcement.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-stress or emergency situations.
• Demonstrated interest in security, safety, or law enforcement.
