About the role

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Resource Pool is hiring a Flexi, Night Shift, Safety Partner. Hours/Shift: Flexi, Night Shift 7pm-7am. As a Safety Partner with Sentara, you will assist with keeping patients and the hospital a safe environment. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to provide the best care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Sit with patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, self‑harm, or other risk behaviors to enable them to maintain function during their hospital stay.
• Assist with keeping patients and the hospital a safe environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare experience or enrollment in a Health Sciences Program strongly preferred.
