Safety Observer

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of scissor lift operations.
• Ensures safety of individuals and hazards on construction site.
• Communicates with Systems Technician / Journeyman, other professionals, and customers.
• Assists with transporting job materials.
• Manages project deadlines, work time, travel time, materials, receipts, inventory, and other project information.
• Keeps worksite clean and organized.
• Absorbs OSHA and code regulations.
• Adheres to safety practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Professional Qualifications

• High school diploma
• OSHA 10 certified (provided by company)

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded signage and other construction-related notices.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Work may be performed outdoors year-round and subject to various weather conditions.
• Includes exposure to loud noises, flashing lights, and construction debris.
• Must be able to work nights.
