Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of electrical systems
- Manage proposal processes and support marketing efforts
- Oversee contract management and procurement activities
- Lead engineering teams in designing and testing spacecraft components
- Ensure compliance with security and safety standards
- Support program managers in strategic planning and execution
- Develop and maintain software applications for scientific purposes
- Design and implement mechanical solutions for spacecraft
- Develop and test flight software for spacecraft operations
- Develop and implement ground systems software for telemetry and control
- Provide leadership and oversight in flight dynamics and GNC systems
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols and CMMC requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in spacecraft engineering, GNC, and telemetry systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with software development and system integration
- Knowledge of CMMC and cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Experience with spacecraft engineering and GNC systems
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
