Safety Manager II - Mission Critical / Data Center Construction
About the role
The Safety Manager II will lead from the field and help elevate safety across some of our most complex work, including mission-critical data center projects. This is an opportunity to join a growing program at the ground level, helping shape how safety is integrated into planning, execution, and daily operations from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of safety programs and policies
- Collaborate with project teams, trade partners, and clients to proactively manage risk and drive a culture where safety is built into how work gets done
- Partner with third-party safety resources to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Support the integration of safety into planning and field execution
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote a safety-first culture
- Monitor and evaluate safety performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on safety procedures and practices
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Experience supporting large, complex projects (data center experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction scopes, including self-perform work (concrete, steel, carpentry, or industrial)
- Proven ability to integrate safety into planning and field execution
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Willingness to travel and work on active project sites
Qualifications
- BS in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- CPM (Certified Professional in Construction Management), OSHA 30, or equivalent certifications
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $125,000 annually, with actual pay adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Other benefits may include:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $96,000 - $125,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Schedule
The Safety Manager II will be required to travel to support data center projects, with occasional overnight stays. The schedule will be flexible to accommodate project needs.
