Safety Manager
Mortenson is seeking a Safety Manager with a passion for safety and experience in construction. The role is available at both Level 1 and Level 2, with compensation based on experience and location.
About the role
Mortenson is looking for a Safety Manager who can interact with various staff and lead projects in a dynamic environment. The Safety Manager will oversee safety programs, conduct trainings, and analyze safety statistics.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety oversight and direction across multiple project sites
- Lead development of site-specific electrical safety programs and activities
- Identify and conduct safety training programs, including train-the-trainer sessions
- Oversee documentation and analysis of safety statistics and reports
- Conduct work area safety audits and major incident analyses
- Monitor and review subcontractor safety activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, or equivalent, or 10+ years of continuous construction experience leading crews and planning work
- Minimum six years of construction safety experience or equivalent experience
- Current driver's license
- Detail-oriented with organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
- Positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in Microsoft Office and relevant safety software

Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $100,100 - $150,200 for Safety Manager I and $107,200 - $160,800 for Safety Manager II, with higher ranges for certain locations.
