Safety Manager
About the role
Tuttle AAG, LLC is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team in Friend, NE. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a safe work environment and have experience implementing safety programs and policies.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee company safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT & OSHA)
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and develop strategies for improvement
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as proper lifting techniques, emergency procedures, and hazard communication
- Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with management and staff to create a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a safety management role or similar industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in safety management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
