Safety Manager

About the role

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and policies. They also lead safety training programs and conduct regular safety audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Develop and implement safety training programs
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
• Respond to and investigate workplace accidents and incidents
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall workplace safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety management role
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• First aid/CPR certification
• Experience with safety software and tools

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
