About the role
The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines at the Port Washington, WI location. This includes conducting regular safety audits, training employees on safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular safety audits and reviews compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Trains employees on safety protocols and best practices.
- Addresses and resolves safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintains accurate records of safety inspections and incidents.
- Participates in emergency response drills and trainings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
