About the role
The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and policies in the workplace. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, training employees on safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and document findings
- Train employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Address and resolve safety concerns immediately
- Develop and implement safety improvement plans
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety management role
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid and CPR certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
