About the role
The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines in the workplace. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, training employees on safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular safety inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Trains employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Addresses and resolves safety concerns promptly.
- Maintains accurate records of safety inspections and training sessions.
- Participates in safety committees and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
