Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Safety Manager role based in the Atlanta Metro area, covering field and office operations. In this role you’ll help build, run, and check safety programs across our water and wastewater projects. complete site inspections, attend safety meetings, training, and keeping us in line with company standards and any client, federal, and state regulations. You'll investigate incidents and near misses, recommend fixes, and keep safety records straight. You'll work closely with project managers, superintendents, and crews to build a real safety culture. You'll report to the Safety Director and work along other safety professionals. Expect to move between active job sites across the area. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English requiredMinimum 5 years of construction safety experience requiredStrong background in occupational health and industrial safetyExperience running EHS programsSkilled at safety training and accident investigationConstruction safety experience, ideally in heavy civil, utilities, water, or wastewater workSolid grasp of OSHA rules and other federal, state, and local safety requirementsTraining or hands on experience in trenching and excavation safetyTraining or hands on experience in confined space entrySolid working knowledge of crane and rigging safety, NCCCO certification a plusCan run field audits, hazard assessments, and build corrective action plansStrong communicator who can coach and connect with different crewsComfortable with basic office software and safety reporting toolsAssociate or bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, construction management, or a related field, or equal hands on experience. A degree in Occupational Safety is a strong plus and may be weighted above certification requirements for the right candidate. Required Certifications OSHA 30 requiredOSHA 510 required Preferred Certification OSHA 500 CHST or CSP TCT/TCS and Flagger Instructor First Aid/CPR Instructor Work Authorization Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
