Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily safety operations across active semiconductor construction work areas.
- Implement and enforce site safety programs in accordance with OSHA, client, contractor, and project-specific requirements.
- Conduct daily site walkthroughs, safety inspections, hazard assessments, and field observations.
- Identify unsafe acts or conditions and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and daily field briefings as needed.
- Partner with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to maintain safety alignment and compliance.
- Support and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), permits, and other required safety documentation.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, inspection reports, training records, incident files, and audit-ready compliance records.
- Support client audits, regulatory inspections, safety reviews, and project compliance reporting.
- Coach field personnel and subcontractors on safe work practices and reinforce accountability.
- Promote a proactive safety-first culture throughout all project operations.
Qualifications
- OSHA 510 certification required.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
- 5+ years of construction safety, EHS, or field safety leadership experience preferred.
- Prior experience serving as a Safety Manager, Site Safety Manager, EHS Manager, Safety Supervisor, or similar field leadership role.
- Strong construction site experience required; semiconductor, cleanroom, high-tech, mission-critical, electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction experience strongly preferred.
- TSMC site or similar semiconductor fab construction experience is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, hazard recognition, incident investigation, corrective actions, and jobsite compliance.
- Experience coordinating safety requirements with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Comfortable working on active construction sites and performing daily site walkthroughs.
- Strong documentation, reporting, communication, and follow-through skills.
- CPR / First Aid / AED certification preferred.
- NFPA 70E or electrical safety exposure is a plus.
- Mandarin-English bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.
