Safety Manager – Mission Critical / Data Center Construction
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage site-specific safety plans in alignment with company and OSHA standards.
Conduct daily job site inspections to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
Monitor MEP work activities including electrical, mechanical, and equipment installations for safe work practices.
Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and task-specific training sessions.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and client-specific requirements.
Conduct and document incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
Maintain and track all safety documentation, including JSAs, permits, inspection reports, and injury logs.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
Lead site orientations and safety onboarding for all workers and visitors.
Work closely with the project team to review work plans, lift plans, and MOPs to assess risk before execution.
Manage safety audits and inspections conducted by internal teams, clients, or regulatory agencies.
Promote a proactive safety culture by recognizing positive safety behaviors and coaching unsafe practices.
Stay current on safety trends and technology relevant to mission critical environments.
