Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels, including new hire orientation and ongoing training sessions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and develop solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in occupational health and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 + years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in the Construction Industry.
- EHS AND/OR CHS Experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
- Prominent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire a culture of safety and accountability.
