About the role
We are seeking experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultants to provide on-site safety leadership and support on construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, and technology projects throughout the United States. Our consultants serve as the boots-on-the-ground safety resource for clients, partnering with project management teams, craft professionals, contractors, and owners to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
Projects may include data centers, semiconductor facilities, solar installations, manufacturing plants, hospitals, commercial high-rise construction, infrastructure projects, and other large-scale construction and industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field safety observations, inspections, and audits.
- Identify workplace hazards and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
- Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee training sessions.
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and safe work plans.
- Support high-risk activities including:
- Fall protection
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Confined space entry
- Crane and rigging operations
- Excavation and trenching
- Hot work
- Electrical safety
- Serve as the primary liaison between workers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding EHS matters.
- Maintain an active field presence and promote safe work practices through coaching and engagement.
- Assist clients with regulatory compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, utility, data center, semiconductor, or similar project environments.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry best practices, hazard recognition, incident investigation, and safety compliance programs.
- Experience conducting field audits, inspections, safety observations, training, and corrective action management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with project managers, supervisors, craft personnel, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic safety reporting systems.

- OSHA 30-Hour Construction
- OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500
- CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician)
- ASP (Associate Safety Professional)
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- STS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor Construction)
- CSHO (Certified Safety & Health Official)
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- NFPA 70E
- Fall Protection Competent Person
- Excavation & Trenching Competent Person
- Confined Space Competent Person
