Responsibilities
Take charge of planning, developing, and driving a comprehensive workplace safety and environmental health program for a Federally Qualified Health Center.
Lead disaster readiness efforts and establish policies and procedures to ensure seamless execution.
Champion safety across all Elica Health Centers locations, delivering measurable success in workplace safety and environmental health metrics.
Collaborate with performance improvement initiatives and organizational goals, working in synergy with the Human Resources and Compliance teams to guarantee the highest levels of employee safety and active participation.

Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of professional safety experience, with at least one year in a healthcare environment.
Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting is highly preferred.
A proven track record in leading change management initiatives, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures across large, complex organizations.
Strong experience in collaboration, consensus building, influencing, and partnership development, with a solid service-oriented mindset.
A BA/BS in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, public health, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
Qualifications
Knowledge of and/or experience working with compliance offices such as The Joint Commission, Cal-EPA, DOHS, Cal-OSHA, Department of Agriculture, and the State Fire Marshal.
Industry certification in any of the following is preferred: REA, CHEM, CSP/ASP, CHMM, CIH, OSHA.
Strong understanding of financial management and its impact on the company’s profitability.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems while keeping all relevant parties informed of any issues or risks.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
