About the role
Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager in Woodbury, MN. This is a 1099 Contract position with the following project details:
- 5 days a week
- 3–4 month project
- On-site work with the client
Responsibilities
- Daily sign-in sheet
- Observe all high-risk activities
- Conduct morning safety huddles
- Coordinate lift plans and lift plan syncs
- Monitor team’s PPE compliance through regular site walks and escalate to PM as needed
- Conduct project safety inspections and orientations
- Provide safety training as requested or required
- Observe and monitor worksite employees and safety practices
- Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
- Perform other EHS-related tasks aligned with the manager’s skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
- Communicate safety standards between trades, GC, and sub-contractors
