Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to oversee safety walk downs and craft labor safety inspections, ensuring safe construction practices are adhered to at all times while supporting the steel contractor at a data center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety walk downs and craft labor safety inspections.
• Provide applicable site training.
• Submit daily reports regarding safety practices and concerns.
• Update OSHA 300 log with recordable incidents.
• Ensure safe construction practices are utilized consistently.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a safety coordinator on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Experience supporting steel erection and dredging.
• Proficiency in OSHA standards, including OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications.
• Certifications such as OSHA 500, CSP, or CHST are required.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and be client-facing.

Work Environment

• 100% onsite at a data center in Des Moines, IA, supporting the steel contractor.
• 50+ hour weeks on average, including some weekends.
• Proper PPE is required at all times.

Pay

$45.00 - $55.00/hour.
