Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a world leader in advanced semiconductor technology. The Safety Leader role is responsible for leading safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with operational groups, field personnel, and leadership to promote a culture of safety, manage incident reporting, and drive continuous improvements in safety performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, industrial hygiene, safety, or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree in a Safety and Health curriculum may be substituted for experience requirement.
- 15+ years experience in Health & Safety.
- 5 years of management experience leading a team of Health & Safety professionals.
- CSP or CIH certification is a plus.
- Detailed understanding of local and regional EHS regulatory requirements.
- Experience dealing with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
Pay
The current base salary range for this role is between $118,270 - $290,230. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience.
