Safety Frameworks Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for safety framework and lead the documentation and execution of such methods;
• Develop process for the readiness review of driver-less deployment, and lead the documentation and execution of such review;
• Lead the development and documentation of company-wide safety case;
• Play a key role in cross-functional safety activities across HW & SW development, validation, and operation;
• Keep up with industrial trends and regulations related to safety framework, standards and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in transportation engineering, statistics, biomedical engineering and mechanics, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, physics etc.;
• Experience with safety standards including ISO26262, ISO 21448, and UL 4600;
• Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics;
• Experience with building safety cases for autonomous vehicles;
• Strong technical communication skills and teamwork spirit.

Preferences

• PhD’s degree with 10+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry experience;
• Experience in the automotive self driving industry;
• Experience in leading small teams of systems and/or safety engineers.

Pay

Salary Range: $75k—$500k USD
